Dra Karpo

A Guru Rinpoche holy site. This temple is connected with the visit of Guru Rinpoche in 8th century to Bhutan. This place is very important because on visit of Guru Rinpoche at the site he remove some rocks from the cliff to create a space to meditate where the temple is currently located.  One could see the removed rocks forming sort of wall. Therefore the name of the temple derived as Drakap meaning splitted rock.
